Countless times I have let stress of work get to me where I come home and order a pizza and drink one too many beers. I've gone to work without packing a lunch... I mean, c'mon Kara, that is a recipe for disaster! Can you say drive thru??
So, how can you remove emotional eating from the equation?
It's simple. You have to PLAN.
When you know what you are going to eat, it takes the guesswork out of it. It also gives you a much higher percentage of actually sticking to your meal plan than if you were to just wing it. Now, some people out there prefer to stay 100% on track by eating the same thing for every meal. I've tried that, and while I like it, I need some variation in my meals.
